This isn't exactly what you would expect by the title, but in truth I have noticed that many times the more passionate your heart, the more easily you are hurt and the more often this occurs. It is not always a bad thing as lessons can be learned.
The passionate heart,
Roams worlds alone,
Open to all,
Crushed in their grip,
Trudging along,
Slowly dying,
Broken is trust,
Compassion slips.
